"Dobra Zemlja" means "good earth" in Croatian, reflecting our deep connection to the land and our heritage. Founded by Milan Matulich on historic Steiner Road— Amador's first wine trail—our winery embodies the spirit of traditional winemaking.
We believe that the grapes make the wine. Our naturally produced, unfiltered, and unfined wines are 100% estate-grown, capturing the true essence of Amador County's exceptional terroir.
