We are open daily from 11am to 5:00pm for indoor tasting in our wine cave and for picnics out on our gorgeous grounds.

Visit our event page or follow us on Facebook to keep up-to-date on all of our latest happenings and upcoming events.

Home of 'Big Amador Reds, No Lightweights', our tasting room is located on Steiner - Amador's First Wine Trail - approximately ten minutes outside downtown Plymouth and an hour east of Sacramento.

Our tasting room is dug into the hillside underneath a rustic and historic barn. We cannot welcome you to taste our wines in Amador County's first wine cave.

Meaning 'good earth' in Croatian, Dobra Zemlja (Doh-bra Zem-ya) produces hearty, unfiltered and unfined wines that are made using yeast. It all about letting the grape make the wine.

There is a $10.00 tasting fee person which is waived with individual wine purchase for groups less than eight. Reservations and prepayment of a non-refundable $10.00 tasting fee per person are required for groups of eight or more. While reservations are not required for groups less than eight, reservations can be made for groups less than eight using the form below.

Dobra Zemlja's club members and their guests are entitled to complimentary wine tasting. Club member must be present for tasting fees to be waived and reservations are required for groups of eight or more.

For questions regarding your upcoming visit or to make a large group reservation, please contact the winery at either (209) 245-3183 or by email at tastingroom@dobraz.com.
