' Dobra Zemlja Winery

History

Founded in 1995 by owners Milan and Victoria Matulich, Dobra Zemlja Winery is the home of “Big Amador Reds, No Lightweights”.

Meaning 'good earth' in Croatian, Dobra Zemlja (Doh-bra Zem-ya) produces hearty, unfiltered and unfined wines that are made using the native yeast. It is all about letting the grape make the wine.

Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on our tree-shaded grounds and come taste in Amador County’s first wine cave!
