Celebrate Owner and Winemaker Milan Matulich’s 89th Birthday and Dobra Zemlja’s April Club Release on Saturday, April 5th from 11am to 4pm. Listen to live music out on our scenic grounds and enjoy delicious locally sourced and seasonal food with an Eastern European twist available to purchase from Chef Andy's Mobile Cross Over Kitchen. We will be debuting during the event our long-awaited 2023 Barbera and 2020 Sangiovese, as well as barrel tasting one of our signature 'Big Amador Reds, No Lightweights'. Get your photo taken with Milan and even have him sign your favorite bottle!

This event is open to the public. Tasting fees apply for non-wine club member groups. There is a $15.00 tasting fee per person, which is individually waived with wine purchase.

Wine club members and their groups receive complimentary admission and wine tasting, but ticket reservations are recommended, and the club member must be present. Wine club members will also be able to pick up their April club release wines at this celebration of all things Milan.

Tickets On Sale Now - Join Dobra Zemlja Winery and our fantastic Start On Steiner winery neighbors as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Spring into Zin on Sunday, April 13th, 2025!

Amador County is home to some of the oldest and best Zinfandel vines in the country and many of us here on Steiner Road use these vines to produce exquisite Zinfandel wines. Spring into Zin is a true celebration of this varietal that has a storied history in Amador County.

During the event, you will have the opportunity to explore the Steiner Road wineries and discover the finesse, elegance, history, and diversity of our unique terroir on Amador County’s First Wine Trail. The wineries of Steiner Road will be showcasing a selection of their wines with a focus on Zinfandel. Selections will range from old vines, to blends, current releases, and barrel tastings that will be perfectly paired with unique small food bites that will tell the story of the Mediterranean origins of Amador County's favorite varietal, Zinfandel.

Here at Dobra Zemlja Winery, join us as we celebrate all things Zinfandel in Amador County’s first wine cave! Enjoy a select flight of our ‘Big Amador Reds, No Lightweights' paired with seasonally inspired mali (‘little’) bites that bring a taste of Croatia to Amador County. Guests will have the opportunity to experience a barrel tasting of an upcoming vintage of our Estate Zinfandel with our winemaker and owner, Milan Matulich. Event exclusive discounts will be offered on select wines.

It's back and it's time to get excited (and get your tickets) for our Annual Wine Club Member BBQ. Celebrate with us on the evening of Saturday, June 21st with live music, good friends, catered BBQ fare from Chef Andy, and great wine!

Check-in starts at 5:30pm and dinner will be served starting at 6:00pm. The tasting room will be closed between 5pm and 5:30pm as we set up for the event.

Wine Club members receive two complimentary admissions and up to eight guest admissions priced at $35.00 per ticket. Max group size is 10.

Listen to live music from local country blues group, Colton Mountain, while enjoying a catered BBQ dinner from Chef Andy. At check-in, you will receive a complimentary glass of your choice of Dobra Zemlja's 'Big Amador Reds, No Lightweights'. Wine will also be available by the bottle (or more) and the glass to purchase throughout the evening.
